𝐍𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞: 𝐖𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐕𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐂𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐤’𝐬 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞!

Beginning this month (November), the Village Clerk’s Office will be adjusting its Friday schedule. Fridays will be open to the public by appointment only.

If you’d like to take care of village business on a Friday, please contact Clerk Torcello a few days in advance by calling 585-658-4160 or emailing lisa.torcello@mountmorrisny.us to schedule an appointment, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your needs.

Fridays have typically been a slower day for walk-in traffic, and since it’s also our shorter day (8am-1pm), we believe this change will support efficiency while continuing to serve residents effectively.

Monday - Thursday hours remain unchanged:

Open 8am-4pm

Meet our Village's Code Enforcement Officer, Tim Dunham. Tim joined us earlier this summer and has been hard at work ever since!

He brings over 40 years of construction experience, including 25 as a general contractor.

Outside of work, Tim enjoys spending time outdoors- hiking, fishing, camping, and hunting-and also serves as a volunteer firefighter in his home town.

Tim has already enjoyed connecting with many members of our community and looks forward to continuing his service to our Village in this role.

Meet our new Mount Morris Police Chief Jeff Wilcox! He's already working diligently for our village, and we are thankful to have him join our MMPD. Chief Wilcox has been in law enforcement for 26 years. He comes highly recommended by peers and supervisors, and brings valuable experience and leadership to this role. Outside of work, Jeff enjoys cycling, and especially loves time with family, including five granddaughters.

Chief Wilcox "appreciates this opportunity to work with the MMPD team to continue to make the community a safe place.”
